This has been updated to work with current systems via a PCI/e interface enclosure that plugs into USB-C on new computers. Enclosure also offers a d-sub video port and can be used at the same time for an extra monitor.

I am a professional composer and this has been my rig for the past decade. I recently got rid of my MacPro computer which had the built in PCI-e slots. So I bought the pictured enclosure to house the Symphony card and allowing it to be connected to my MacBook Pro.

I was recently using this system on a MacBook Pro M1 and ran Logic Pro and Pro Tools with full Symphony support via the enclosure (which is less than 2 years old).

Interfaces are the legendary DA-16x and a Rosetta 800. Both have the optional x-symphony card installed. Apogee is renowned for their converters and these units stand the test of time.

I include breakout cables to connect to your analog gear and a bnc cable to chain the word clock between the two units. Also a long cable to connect the enclosure to interfaces.

The interfaces have no cosmetic faults, except the casing due to rack mounting. The fronts are perfectly clean and without imperfections.

There is a weird bug on DA-16 where by to power it on I sometimes have to repeatedly press the power button. It does turn on after several pushes. Once powered on, it works perfectly.

I am selling this as a complete bundle. Not breaking it up.
