Up for auction is a pre-owned Rawlings "Heart of the Hide" Ed Bailey Personal Model catcher's mitt for the professional player.  This is a leather glove that is 100% nylon sewn with a deep-well pocket.  I cannot find anywhere on the glove where there is a size given, but I have decent size hands and it fits me well, so I would guess that it at least a medium if not a large.  This is a left-handed mitten styled mitt for a right-handed thrower.

This mitt was manufactured in the 1960's while Ed Baily was playing for the Chicago Cubs and is personally autographed by him, as well as three other Chicago Cubs catchers during that time period.  A total of four catchers have signed this glove, all that had played for the Chicago Cubs:

Ed Bailey - played for the Cubs in 1965 as well as the Reds from 1953-1961; the Giants from 1961 - 1963 and again in 1965; the Braves in 1964; and the Angels in 1966

Chris Krug: Played for the Cubs in 1965-1966 and then for the Padres in 1969

Vic Roznovsky: Played for the Cubs in 1964-1965; Orioles in 1966-1967 and Phillies in 1969

Vernon Walker: Was a minor league Cubs catcher in 1961 and then became a coach for the cubs from 1961 - 1970

Additional note: My great uncle was the team photographer for the Chicago Cubs in the 1960's and 1970's, and he gifted me this mitt.
