Vintage Penn 116M-12/0 Senator Series Heavy Trolling Reel - Made in USA - Used

This reel would be a nice addition to any reel collection or fished.

This reel model was released in the 1940's and discontinued by Penn in the mid-1980's. 

The Penn senator heavy tackle trolling reels was one of Penn's first series.

Penn senator series big game reels were used around the world in setting most big game records.   

     

Durable external and internal components, hand polished chrome plated external metal components, precision machined stainless steel pinion gear, bronze alloy main gear, sliding on/off durable spool clicker, chrome plated bronze spool, sturdy frame post, single lever control - free spool, powerful multi-disc star drag system, counter-balanced torpedo knob handle, right hand retrieve, one piece rod clamp and hardware, rod brace assembly. gear ratio: 2:1, line capacity: mono 1100 yds / 80 lbs, braid 4100 yds / 80 lbs.
