This collection of Coleridge's Works contains all the productions of this author that have appeared in England, with the exception of his newspaper articles, Which have been recently republished under the title of Essays on his own Times. It has not been deemed advisable to include these in this series, on account of the ephemeral character of most of them, and because the author's social, political and ethical philosophy is much more fully and clearly presented in the Essays of The Friend.
