Up for grabs is a beautiful piece of history… we aren’t sure who owned this 1967 Airstream Tradewind but it has been all over the place on at least 8 Wally Byam Caravan tours.  Who knows? Maybe Elvis owned it! 😅 Check out the last photo to see where it has traveled.

This trailer is perfect for your future travel needs or as a guest-house, man or woman-cave, AIR B&B income opportunity…we have built it so that you can customize according to your needs.

We found it abandoned in Louisiana and embarked on a year-long journey of bringing it back to life.  It has been remodeled from the ground up… all new sub—flooring and real hardwood plank.  Inside the door and to the right is a pull-out full-sized bed.  Plenty of storage above and below the bed.

The kitchen area includes a small sink and has plenty of storage in the cabinets and a portable hot-plate.  A 120-volt wine fridge completes the set-up.  A couch across from the kitchen cabinetry has storage beneath and can sleep one more person for a total of 3.

The rear bathroom boasts a full bath-tub/shower combo with a custom antique cabinet/sink combination.  There is a temporary toilet as we wanted to leave it up to the future owner to choose between an RV toilet, compost toilet or regular porcelain if using for a permanent location.  There is an 8 gallon electric water heater and a 13 gallon fresh water tank.  The existing black water tank is still there if you want to hook up an RV toilet.

The trailer has brand new tires and the bearings have been re-packed.  All new electric brakes.   It has already been driven from Louisiana to San Diego without incident.  The hubcaps are retro Airstream.  The trailer has been polished to a mirror-shine.  💎 This trailer also comes with a built-in hitch. It is 24 feet long and dry weight is 3450.

Please feel free to contact us with questions if you are genuinely interested and capable of purchasing the trailer.  We have put MANY many long hours and considerable expense into this project.  And it is a lovely piece of history as was mentioned.  It is, however a trailer from 1967 so there will be scratches and dents…it is not perfect.  We are wiling to negotiate but we are unwilling to waste time with people that aren’t serious.  Please, no lowball offers or offers to trade for other vehicles, no guarantees, no payment plans,  No sending half the money through a foreign account….you get the point, right? We have worked hard and want a smooth sale to a person who will treasure this gem.

Thanks so much for looking!
