STYLISH VINTAGE SWISS SWIZA 8 DAY, 7 JEWELS DESK CALENDAR & ALARM CLOCK c1970

Made by the Swiss clock making company of SWIZA, they were renowned for their innovative, quality clocks. Here is a fine example of their work. Set into the heavy, solid brass surround sits the uber stylish brushed silver dial. With its gilded baton hour markers and gilded hands, it is sleek and so of its period. The dial bares the name SWIZA Calendar, 8 day, 7 jewels. It measures 3 1/2 inches in diameter, and weighs almost half a kilo before packing..

To the rear are the winders and setters. As mentioned, as well as being an alarm clock, this is also a calendar clock, date shown in the small window in the dial. The clock is in fully working order, keeping good time, alarm working, as is the calendar.
