1975 Yamaha XS650B Unregistered US Import Classic Project With US Title

This well-respected and much sought after 1975 Yamaha XS650B has recently been imported from North America where its spent all of its life.
As you can see the bike has a few bits missing; mirrors, indicators, battery and seat hinges being the most obvious. We also noted that; the ignition barrel turns but is damaged, the seat base has a hole, rear mudguard is dented, there is some damage to the RH silencer and there is a gasket missing where the LH silencer meets the header.
The wheels looks straight with just minor marks to the clean alloy rims
Forks look straight but have some pitting present
Headlight and tailight look ok
Switches move freely
Tank has been resealed inside but is clean and feels solid
Chainguard is tidy
Exhausts feel solid
When we hooked it up to a booster battery and fed fresh fuel through the carb we had it firing, running and revving but the carb and fuel system will require some attention.
We are selling this bike as a trade clearance project so make us an offer and get started!
