An exceptionally pretty and very scarce, large Bell Vase, from the Isle of Wight Studio of Michael Harris.

This gorgeous piece is from the Meadow Garden range in the beautifully delicate, powder blue 'Cornflower' Colourway.

The range was designed by Elizabeth Harris in 1983, the Cornflower colourway was only produced from 1983-1985.

Bell vases, particularly these large examples and Cylinder vases are much scarcer than other forms.

It is 14 cm tall (5.5 inches) and 14 cm (5.5 inches) diameter at rim.

 

The base is flat polished and bears a black triangular label of the 1980's.

The condition is excellent with no issues.

The last image shows a smaller squat globe vase in the same colourway, this is not part of this auction and is available in a separate listing.
