Stunning vintage 1940s butter cream lace robe peignoir
This classic 40s boudoir lounge wear dressing gown is made of soft rayon fabric with a beautiful butter cream shade (it is white with a butter yellow tone) and is adorned with beige floral lace front panels with ruffles .
it has an attached tie belt as closure and hook and eye closure at the waist.
it has beautiful long puffed balloon sleeves with lace ruffles and two buttons at the cuffs and a gorgeous sweeping long skirt.
there are clear pronged rhinestones above the waist, small shoulder pads with lots of gathers.
there are also lots of gathers under the waist.
not lined.
the robe is in excellent vintage condition, there are a few very faint spots at the front bottom hem (see last picture) but this doesn't detract from it's beauty.
no other flaws to mention.
