Here is an all glass beaded reticule bag/purse that dates from the 1900s. Probably hand crafted.

This is what ladies did long before social media .Can you imagine how long it would take to make this bag.

The bag measures about 9” long and handles about 9” long. Draw string style closure.

It has all its thousands of intact golden amber beads and wonderful tassels SEE photos. All beads are secure no loose beads.

There is one minuscule different colored bead. Have no idea why.

You can see inside the inner lining the fabric and how beads attached. There is no like silk or satin additional lining.

There is a small reinforced patch on a handle lining.

I would say a very well taken care of bag. Amber is supposed to be a color trend this year.

Would make a unique Valentine gift or any gift occasion. If you collect this is a wonderful bag of the era. Or might start you collecting.

Purse has some weight to it.
