This is an original b&w photo of a shop window tobacco display.
commisioned by the manufacturers.

Slight fading, marking & discolouration and curling as shown

The image was taken by a Victorian collector who was a photographer in London.
He worked for various tobacco companies and this photograph was taken during one of the most active
phases which he added to his archive.
To prove provenance of image I will also include a photocopy of original telegram dated May 12th 1926
from The Imperial Tobacco Company requesting "Contact" images of the tobacco display from the photographer William Whiffin of East London.
I have many similar images on EBAY depicting other tobacco products.
