One end of the adaptor has a CGA 540 connection (threaded) and the other a CGA 870 connection (fits over post valve). Refill your smaller B, C, M6, M6A, D and E cylinders from a larger cylinder, such as an 'H' size. Save time and money.  Additionally, the money saved by filling your own cylinders will pay for this adaptor. Depending on the source and fill cylinder sizes, a dozen or more refills is likely. Also great for doctors/Veterinary offices and laboratories.
