You are bidding on the rarest G.I. Joe comic known to date. This is G.I. Joe America's Elite issue 36, the 'Devil's Due Edition'. An unreleased cover that was printed with only 50 copies meant for individuals who worked on the G.I. Joe book at DDP or Hasbro. The books sat in storage and eventually faced destruction at the hand of a flood, and eventually even fire. So now the actual number of these books is much much lower than 50.

But even against the elements, this one survived and has a wonderful 9.8 grade on it.

If you're unfamiliar with the book, check the last photo with a short description from 'After Action Report Vol 2: The DDP Era'.

Payment is expected within 48 hours of the auction close. Do not bid on this listing if you're not able to pay.

I WILL NOT RESPOND TO OFFERS. THIS AUCTION IS GOING TO GO LIVE AND RUN ITS COURSE.

I was one of the folks responsible for this cover and this came from my personal archive. As far as I know, this book has never turned up for auction in any form (graded or ungraded), and now you have a chance to add a 9.8 Near Mint/Mint version to your collection. This may never turn up for auction ever again, so make sure to set all your reminders if you're not bidding right at this moment.

The book will ship fully insured and packed better than you've ever seen.
That's it. Happy bidding and YO JOE!!
