Here is an excellent example of an Art Deco vase from Roseville Pottery's Futura line, introduced in 1928.  This shape is nicknamed "The Brown Stump".  Above the two stepped corners there are darker chocolate brown accent panels.  The colors used on these corner accent panels on this shape vary from piece to piece, from a light caramel tan to this dark chocolate brown.

It no longer has its original paper label.  It is shape number 421-5". "421" is faintly marked on the bottom with Roseville's orange crayon.

It is 5" tall and 4.25" wide at the base.

Condition:  Mint, by which I mean there are no chips, cracks, or repairs.  Very fine, faint crazing is present.

Please see photos.

I will be listing other pieces of pottery in the coming days, and am always happy to combine shipping--just let me know. I start all my listings as true $0.99 auctions. Good luck bidding!
