The shell is made of VersaTech*, an extremely tightly woven polyester, water resistant due to its high thread count. VersaTech's structure actually gets tighter after washing (ironing it after washing increases its spray resistance), making it the longest lasting, breathable, spray-proof fabric
The hood has a neoprene bill to shade sun and deflect spray.
The neoprene cuffs and waist dry quickly, and don't lose their tenacity when wet.
The close fitting hood moves with your head, allows maximum peripheral vision, and is designed to fit under a foul weather gear hood.
The whole jacket is lined with Midweight Capilene, offering a moisture wicking, warm layer beneath the shell.
The two large chest pockets will keep your glasses, sun block, and plenty of other stuff snug and dry behind flap-covered, noncorrosive zippers.
The Y-Joint sleeves allow freedom of movement, even under foulies.
