E044 Soapine French Soap Kendall Co trade card Providence RI woman archery bow & arrow

Front excellent condition. Blank reverse side has a very light couple of small spots.

Image: By today’s eye, a very curious if not a little unsettling image - A deadly aim archer lady wearing a hat that says KILLER. Given she is hitting a bull’s eye on the target, DIRT, in today’s gender conscious culture, one might take “DIRT” as a reference to men.

But probably I go too far with this and should have stayed home watching TV.

So anyway, I guess I’ll go another step. Given the woman’s green dress, maybe she is Irish.

Oh, ok, 1 more little step. The target and the Dirt Killer Soap box are in red, white, and blue - a subtle reference to American product? Unconscious advertising promoting the patriotism value as a further inducement to buy this product?
