Description: A very nice example.  Jacket designed by Agnes Pinder Davis.  The jacket  shows the original 3/6 price to the ispine. It is in very attractive condition with some creasing and wear, and some toning to the white areas, and darkening to the spine (see pictures).  The book itself is in pleasing condition, with some wear and light bumping (see pictures). Small ownership signature to front free endpaper. Binding sound and square. Some toning to the leaves and page edges.  Uncommon in the dustwrapper.

Provenance: The dust jacket was part of the collection of rare original vintage dust jackets compiled by the celebrated bibliographer George Locke. We are pleased to have been able to continue George Locke's project by reuniting the dustjacket with its book.
