Maker: Although the underglaze puce mark on the base of both of these exquisite short candleholders has not been identified, they appear to be from Dresden, the region of Germany that has produced exceptional works of porcelain since the 18th century.

Design: They feature finely hand painted flowers in a beautifully executed version of the classic Dresden Flowers pattern produced by many German makers in Dresden and other regions.

Size: They are 2 5/8 inches tall, 3 3/4 inches wide at the base and 1 7/8 inches wide at the top. The candle opening is just under 1 1/4 inches wide. Together they weigh 9.5 ounces.

Condition: Both candle holders are in excellent condition with no nicks, chips, cracks, scratches, stains, repairs or wear. The gold trim is entirely intact. Green felt pads protect the bottoms from scratches.

Please check all the photos very carefully - they are an important part of the description.
