Junghans striking mantel or bracket clock for restoration or parts. Height excluding the handle is 305mm, width at the base excluding the feet is 230mm, and depth at the base excluding the feet is 157mm. Complete with pendulum and gong, but no key.

The movement is stamped with the Junghans trademark with ‘A13” below it, and “151” near the top of the back plate. I haven’t removed the movement to examine it for defects but the mainspring on the time side appears to be broken. On the strike side there is resistance to winding but the spring won’t stay wound so there may be either a broken click or click spring there.

The case is stamped with the number 18 inside the back door. The front door and glass are missing, and the back door has split at the edge, although the loose edge is present. There are also a couple of cracks from front to back at the crown of the arched top which may be a repair.

I bought this clock some years ago as a restoration project but I think the case repairs are beyond my ability so I’m selling it on for someone else to enjoy the restoration.
