RARE HISTORIC DOG BREED ART PRINT, Modern reproduction of 1890 Muster Hunde Buch pure bred dog portraits by renowned animal painter Jean Bungartz (who was ~ next to his dog books ~ mainly known for his works on poultry including Poultry Album, Pigeon Breeds, Model Pigeons Album, Chicken Breeds. But he also wrote less well-known works on farm animals (pigs, goats) and the very rare illustrated ribbon "The Aquarium", "The Terrarium" and "Talking Parrots." Each portrait is reprinted on 8 1/2" x 11" sheets of toned paper. The toned area around the Miniature / Standard Poodle illustration measures approximately 5 5/8" Wide x 7 5/8" High, pretty much centered on the 8 1/2" x 11" sheet - Note that the originals are not perfectly square in some cases, and for framing, you may choose to crop so that does not show.These rare and beautiful dog art prints are sold without mat or frame, so that you may do as you wish to suit your taste and your home.
