Rare and interesting "1927 Nat. Geo ads for Cars, Traveler's Cheques, Adding Machines, World Tours and more." The complete 3 pages were published in National Geographic in 1927. Each leaf measures 10" X 7". They are originals, and not reproductions.
Page no. 1 has an ad for the Whippet Automobile in models "Six" and "Four". On the reverse is an ad for American Express Travelers Cheques. This being the Inter-War years, those who could afford to travel, were doing it. And American Express offered the services to make it happen smoothly.
Page no. 2 shows the latest adding Machine from Burroughs. This machine was a life saver for many large businesses, who no longer had to keep track of money and inventory by hand. On the reverse are ads for the Esterbrook pen, and All-Expense Tours to Europe. "3 days for only $385 dollars! Hard to imagine.
Page 3, the final page has an advertisement for "Forham's for the Gums." By this point in history Dentifrices and oral care had left the realm quack medicine with tried and true products. Continuing on the reverse side are smaller ads for 1927 Calendars, stationary, and granite tombstones and memorials.
Condition: These 6 pages are in used but very good condition. We received them removed from the original magazine, so they do have staple holes on one side of the paper. In addition there is damage to the lower right-hand corner
