SWIMSUIT 1910” issue, so coined, because times were changing for the cosmopolitan Ottoman Constantinople of the early 20th century. This issue had some then risqué images, showing its cultural diversity.

This biweekly Ottoman journal Şehbal (or “Wings“) was published in Constantinople (Istanbul) between 1907 and 1914, by Hüseyin Saadeddin Arel (1880–1955), a well-known Turkish musicologist and composer.

      Overall condition is in very good for its age, some minor stains and minor edge tears. It is clean and readable.
