Presented for auction is this superb Vintage Wedgwood Terracotta Jasperware Shallow Bowl c.1968.
Produced by Wedgwood this superb vintage terracotta jasperware shallow bowl or dish is circular shaped with a short circular foot and is superbly finished with white leaf and grapes cameos, superb quality item/craftsmanship. It is impressed marked on the base Wedgwood Made In England along with other impressed marks one being 68 which I believe dates it to 1968, please see all the additional photos as they form part of the description.
Measuring 5 1/4" in diameter x 1 1/4" high approx. it is in excellent used condition with no chips, cracks or restoration, there is what looks like a manufacturing flaw on the side edge see photo 4 to the right side.
