This offer is for a
lot of three used 1920 issued Bavarian, German State, stamps of 1920
overprinted "Deutiches Reich" in black. There is one official stamp in this lot, seen
in row two. The stamps are denominated in Pfennig or Marks and the stamps in
row one are watermarked with horizontal wavy lines close together (SC Wmk #95h)
while the official stamp is watermarked with vertical wavy lines close together
(SC Wmk #95v).
The following three stamps are included
in this offer listed by their Scott numbers:
Row 1:
SC #257: 10pf orange, Plowman, Wmk
95h, SCV = $1.60
SC #263: 60pf blue green, Sower,
Wmk 95h, SCV = $1.40
Row 2:
SC #O67: 2½m deep blue, Wmk 95v,
with overprint words 8mm apart, SCV = $2.
Condition: The three used stamps do
not appear to have been previously hinged. Buyer to self grade this lot.
