Grateful Dead Fans !!! ... which means Yes ! - Fans of both Noise ! ( as Mickey likes to say ... ) & Rhythm !!  If you have yet to hear " Diga " then your Music-Loving Soul ! is in for a real-treat !  This is a 1976 Studio Masterpiece ! release - which features Mickey Hart & his close World Music Friend Drumming at their collective Best ! ... with even Jerry Garcia ! himself adding Guitar action on Two ( 2 ) of the Five ( 5 ) Tracks on this Album !  Just as the hype sticker on the front of this CD says so well ... " The First Step on the Path to Planet Drum - Featuring Jerry Garcia on Two Tracks " !!!  Wow ... as I do suppose that this was indeed the " 1st Step " towards Mickey Hart's 1991 studio album " Planet Drum " - which also featured Jerry Garcia ... but, this Album stands way-out on it's own - as just flat-out Mean !!!  I mean really Fans ... as this is the kind of high-caliber Percussion that any quality Percussion-Lover dreams about !!!  In other words ... this would be like comparing Mid-'70's John McLaughlin ' Shakti ' to Early-2000's John McLaughlin ' Return To Shakti ' - if, you know what I'm saying there ... both Excellent ! - but, the '70's stuff just completely blows you back, and I mean way-back in your easy chair !  Heavy-duty & Heavenly ! Percussion-fueled Music ! - Noise !! - Sound !!! & Tone !!!!  Wow !!!  This was originally released on Album Vinyl ! ' in ' 1976 - and wasalso  released somewhere in like the Late-'80's / Early-'90's on the Ryko label on CD, and now finally ... released as part of " The Mickey Hart Collection " - as shown nicely through the front panel of the CD spine.  I'll let the Music ! do the rest of the talking from here, but this I will say ...
