Garcia Band Fans !! ... and Dead Fans ! Everywhere too !  Well, if you are perhaps on the hunt for one of the Finest ! Jerry Garcia Shirts of All-Time !? ... that mission might just be complete !  Wow ... not only is this 1988 Issued ( over 35-Years ago ! ) Garcia Shirt in the Rock & Roll ! ( and Garcia too ! ) ' preferred ' color of Black !  But ... this image itself is without question one of the Quintessential ! & now Legendary !! Jerry Garcia images in History !  This photo-image is indeed the Rock & Roll Photography Art Masterpiece ! of Ken Friedman, and - if you are perhaps familiar with your Jerry Garcia & Grateful Dead Poster History ... then, you will also recognize this photo as the ' Color ' Photo used for the July 10, 1988 ( 7/10/1988 ) Jerry Garcia Band Show - at the one & only Greek Theatre ! in Berkeley, California ... a place that I used to very-proudly call ' Home '.  And, come to think of it ... regarding another place that many of us Fans used to call ' Home ' too ... the one & only Warfield Theatre !  Well, I'll never forget the last time I walked in there to see a J.G.B. 3-Night run in '94, because just before your ticket got torn at the Warfield front door ... the J.G.B. & B.G.P. had this photo displayed ! ... in a Massive ! size - right through the front entrance window of the Warfield when you walked in the front doors !!!  So awesome ... as I sure wish I would have had my camera for that run.  It was like Garcia himself greeting you at the entrance - in Photo form!  And then naturally, when that Warfield red curtain swung open nice & slowly... you got the real Garcia right in your face !  Elbows right on the stage for me at that run, as I will never-ever forget !  The 2nd to last Garcia Band stand for me, with my last & final being at the Kaiser.  Grate ! days indeed ...  So, the deal on this Shirt is that it was obviously a super Popular ! image back in the day, and it was one that Fans cherished !  So ... in 1988, and in 1989 on the J.G.B. Fall Tour ( on the East Coast ! ) this was indeed one of the very-few Garcia Shirts that were available as a Tour Shirt !  This one here over a Quarter-of-a-Century !?! later has indeed stood the test of time, as far as the best of the best Jerry Garcia Shirts go ... and, if you are a straight & to the point type of Fan who treasures the Classic ! Rock & Roll look ... well, then this one is tough to beat indeed.  In fact, I would personally go as far as saying that this Garcia Shirt is definitely one of the coolest ever.  I'm not really sure what competes, or even remotely out does this one ?  I mean just look at these photos, and hopefully you will agree ... a tall order indeed.  Garcia delivering in yet another ! Garcia Band Prime form ... right in the Mid/Late 1980's !!!  Just the perfect Garcia Shirt design really.  Enjoy this Garcia Rock & Roll Treasure - and wear it with the Pride ! that it deserves.  Enjoy !!!!!
