Welcome to Ashantee Music!

Matching Exceptional Students With Quality Instruments

One of several professional trumpets we are offering for sale. This is a Bach Stradivarius 180S37—an ML bore, Bb horn in silver.  It is in very good condition:  silver plate about 98% with very little wear at all and just a few tiny nicks in the silver mostly along the leadpipe.  No major dents or repairs, but small dings and scratches here and there left over from minor dent removal.  Unlike most of the Strads you might be looking at, this one is just through the shop where it was chem cleaned, detergent cleaned, lubed, polished, and has all new tuning slide O-rings, water key cork, stop rod bumper and piston felts installed.  Valves are fast and smooth with excellent compression.  All tuning slides are free including the third valve dump slide which is so often stuck that many people don’t know it’s supposed to move.  Best of all—totally classed up with the full gold trim kit:  top and bottom caps, water key, finger buttons and stop rod screws—itself selling for $519.99.  Blue Juice valve oil and Slide-Glide slide grease are for local pickup only and will not be shipped, but it does include a new ProTec microfiber cloth, new ProTec leather finger protector, 7C mouthpiece, and aBach 5C mouthpiece. All in an exceptional Bach hard case with plenty of room for other accessories.  The most popular trumpet in the world in great condition with $500 in upgrades, and at about $1,500 less than brand new!

We are always happy to consider reasonable offers on our auctions.

Purchases:  We strive to be accurate and detailed in our descriptions.  If you have any questions or concerns about a listing, please ask questions prior to bidding.  Photographs are considered a binding part of an item description.

Shipping:  Items are shipped after receipt and clearance of your payment.  We try to ship far ahead of the handling time listed in the auction.  Note that with international shipping, not all countries provide door-to-door tracking; therefore, buyer assumes full liability for item after leaving the United States.

Returns:  We have zero unhappy customers, and we have offered hassle-free returns for almost twenty years.  Unfortunately, due to rampant abuse of eBay's automated returns, and since PayPal no longer refunds sales fees, we have had to revise our return policy.  (1) If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact us PRIOR to initiating a return via eBay and allow us to address your concerns.  Many items such as clarinets and oboes come out of adjustment during the shipping process, and can be easily tweaked by your local technician.  We are happy to talk you through this process.  (2) Items may be returned for any reason at your expense within seven days of receipt for a full refund of the purchase price less shipping and eBay fees, which are not refundable. If on receipt we are able to verify the item to be significantly different than described, we will additionally refund original shipping, PayPal fees, and your return shipping to maximum of $30.00.

Non-paying Bidders:  We reserve the right to relist or otherwise dispose of any item if payment is not received with three days of the auction close.
