“Zetetic Scholar” for 1979 & 1980, ed. by Marcello Truzzi - VG+ Paranormal RARE

Full title - “Zetetic Scholar: An Independent Scientific Review of Claims of Anomalies and the Paranormal”

We are offering two issues of this privately printed journal of paranormal studies and skepticism - Issue No. 5 from 1979 (124 pp) and Issue No. 6 from 1980 (186 pp). We will not break up this set.

Now rare and near-vintage, these unusual publications focusing on psychic phenomena, UFOs/UAPs and other esoteric subjects were issued under the guidance of the late Marcello Truzzi and are extremely rare, being the precursor to the later magazine “The Zetetic.”

Truzzi was a personal friend and mentor to the current owner. For information about Truzzi, see the Wikipedia article at en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marcello_Truzzi which explains his history with the organization CSICOP and how he came to launch "The Zetetic" after severing his ties with the group.

These journals are staple-bound and are in generally very good condition, with all pages and soft cardboard covers intact. The upper right corner of issue No. 5 is slightly crumpled but the pages remain in generally excellent shape.

Please look at the accompanying photos to see the tables of contents for these two publications.

As I continue to downsize my collection of books, I’m focusing on unusual phenomena, occultism, magic and related subjects. I’ve offered several difficult-to-find items on eBay in the hope of reaching a broader group of collectors. It’s possible that some may be of interest to you. Please glance over these current items is the "More from this Seller" section. Thank you!
