The Asics Japan S™ Sportstyle shoe is based on one of the retro Asics models from 1981. This updated version features a low-top silhouette with a court-inspired toe box and a country-inspired color palette. With a lightweight design thanks to a modified midsole, this shoe provides optimal comfort and lasting cushioning. This style mimics the aesthetic of an iconic basketball sneaker and features nostalgic Asics branding, such as the tiger stripes on the quarter panels and the Asics print on the heel. The vintage basketball aesthetic of the Japan S™ shoe is combined with iconic and court-specific details inspired by the shoes worn on the court by basketball players in the 1980s.
