 For sale is a sealed, brand new in box STB Nitro 64 2MB ISA CL-GD5434 VGA card. This is one of the best, most modern ISA video cards produced. It is based on the Cirrus Logic CL-GD5434 graphics accelerator, just like the venerable Diamond Speedstar 64. You get high compatibility for DOS gaming, excellent Windows acceleration, a huge 2MB frame buffer and far better LCD support than older cards.

This one has a shipping label from 1999... likely among the last name-brand ISA video cards produced for retail sale, which explains how scarce they are now. Interestingly, STB was actually owned by 3dfx for half a year before they packaged this card!

This particular box is in great sealed condition with some puckering from the tight shrink wrap, and some of the corners are slightly crumpled (visible in the pictures). There doesn't appear to be any discoloration, so I would say it was likely kept in a box in a warehouse for the past 24 years, rather than on a shelf getting sun bleached and scuffed up.

Please look carefully at the pictures if you are concerned about the condition of the box.

Since this item is being sold in a SEALED box, as a vintage collectible, it is being sold AS IS with no returns for any reason. I can make no guarantees related to the contents of the box because I have not broken the seal to examine or test them. I will say that the box has the appropriate weight for the contents and the contents sound like they are firmly in place, except for what sounds like a piece of card stock or possibly a disk that moves a bit.

This item will be shipped securely inside another box so that it will arrive safely. When you open the box it will be just like you ordered it from a PC Mall catalog in 1999 so that your ancient ISA-only 486sx system could run Windows 95 somewhat acceptably... FINALLY.
