LOT OF 2 BEAUTIFUL ANTIQUE FROM THE LATE 19th/ EARLY 20th  CENTURY QI’ING DYNASTY CHINESE or JAPANESE BROCADE SILK PANELS!


Up for the auction are 2 beautiful antique from the late 19th/ early 20th century Chinese or Japanese brocade silks. 

The longest brownish burgundy colored one with golden metallic thread dragons among clouds, flowers, and foliage mounted on paper. 

The blue ground brocade silk was most likely a part of a garment- still has bronze lining attached.

The longer panel measures: 

60” (152.4 cm) long x 6.5”(16.5 cm- silk itself); 60” (152.4 cm) x 8.5” (21.6- silk together with the paper border).


The blue narrow brocade silk with bronze lining measures:


45.5” (115.6 cm) x 3” (7.6 cm).

Extremely finely worked pieces- just look at the pictures!

CONDITION: 


 GOOD ANTIQUE CONDITION OVERALL WITH SOME CREASING IN SPOTS AND FRINGING ON THE EDGES OF THE LONGER PIECE WITH DRAGONS. OTHERWISE GOOD. FOR CONDITION REPORT PLEASE, REFER TO THE PICTURES.
