Offered for sale is a beautiful antique 19th c Qi'ing dynasty Chinese embroidered silk oval wallet. The upper parts of the wallet are in a shape of a leaf or a petal.
Embroidered throughout in black threads featuring very unusual geometrical design with swastikas (Buddhist good luck symbol) on one side.
Very unusual kind of embroidery.
Lined inside (see pictures).
The purse measures 5 2/8” (13.2 cm) x 4 6/8” (11.7 cm).
Condition: GOOD ANTIQUE CONDITION WITH ONE HOLE AND ONE STAIN (SEE PICTURES). OTHERWISE GOOD.
