On offer for you is this exceptional antique engagement ring from the Art Deco period.

Modelled in solid 18ct yellow gold with a platinum face, this ring boasts three ruby gemstones surrounded by diamonds in a scalloped panel setting.

The rubies are of fantastic colour, all well-matched in a deep colour with magenta undertones. The larger central ruby is an oval cut, flanked top to bottom by two smaller rubies. Four white old rose cut diamonds sit in a each corner of the platinum face. The ring face is slightly raised and set in a basket-style setting, with detailed scalloped gold work to the undercarriage. The shoulders of the ring start off in fine slopes, gradually tapering into a wider domed ring band.

The ring is very beautifully made, with a stunningly detailed view from both the top and the side. With a low profile setting, it would make a quality antique engagement ring as equally a dress ring.
