dont ask me why but the seller i got it off on ebay tends to sell ibanez necks with the serial number scratched off as is the case with this one ,,,,please see pics ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,it could be sanded smooth if it bothers you ,,i was going to do this  and put it on a strat then realised the heal is the wrong shape for a strat ,,
