LOS CINCO LATINOS

Con Orquesta

SIDE 1:     TODO ES NUEVO

SIDE 2:     ERES DIFERENTE

MEGARARE and HARD-TO-FIND original Columbia Records vey first High Fidelity Mono press released by Columbia Records, made and distributed in Chile by Goluboff Industrias Fonográficas (Goluboff Records) in 1960, catalog number SG-91, with machine etched matrix numbers ZAS34 in Side 1 and ZAS35 in Side 2, with white/red Columbia Records labels and large center. Yes, Sirs, ANOTHER FIND from Chile!!!

“Todo Es Nuevo” was originally released in 1960 in Argentina and the same year it was released here in Chile and the Side 2, “Eres Diferente”, became one of the biggest hits of Los Cinco Latinos. Song titles are written in Spanish only, with full credits for songwriters and “with Orchestra” for accompaniment, with additional information about the rights society. So, here you have the chance to get and own this MEGARARE PRESS of this single by Los Cinco Latinos with WHITE COLUMBIA LABELS, a record almost never seen, maybe auctioned here in eBay by the very first time and A MUST TO HAVE for all fans, lovers and collectors of Los Cinco Latinos and traditional early Latin Doo-Wop and Pop/Rock’N’Roll music!!!

This record doesn’t have a cover. The record is in nice VG- or VG condition both sides, glossy and clean, with many scuffs, hairlines and some light scratches, hard to see at first sight, which don’t affect play at all. Labels are in VG or VG+ condition both sides, clean and clear, with some spindle hole wear and evident age browning, with some discoloration. The sound is in strong EX+ or even NM- condition both sides, loud, clear and clean, with a light background noise (surface noise is normal in records from Chile), with minimal occasional soft crackles here and there, more evident in the last seconds of each song, which don’t cause major distraction from the experience to listen and enjoy this record from the beginning to the end. Overall, this is a great record in this MEGARARE CHILEAN PRESS with WHITE COLUMBIA LABELS, maybe not for strict Minty minds or audiophiles, but still with a very nice look, fully readable labels and great sound quality after about 64 years, which won’t disappoint anyone and will satisfy any serious collector who knows the real level of rarity of this Chilean issue!!! Yes, Sirs, what a FIND!!! Click on the pictures to enlarge and see the labels and cover in detail. WOW!!!

Bid with confidence and don’t wait until the last second because you could lose the chance to get a real collectable record from Chile (South America) in superb condition like this copy is. You know South American records aren’t easy to get in good conditions, so HAPPY BIDDING and don’t let this record to go away… you could never see a so good copy of this record again… if you are lucky enough to see even another copy again…

Thanks for watching and bidding, good luck and best regards from Chile

We don’t use the generic “VG” most of South American sellers use to hide poor quality conditions or “NM” or “Mint” for records which aren’t even clean and sound less than a normal “VG” in professional standards. We use the Record Collector’s Grading System with a little modification: we don’t use MINT grade but for Sealed records and we can use a + or – to show a most professional accurate description.

MINT (M): I only use this grade for Sealed records.

NEAR MINT (NM): The record itself is in like new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality (only some very very very light hairlines caused for the record rubbing the sleeve). The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in like perfect condition.

EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality, maybe some surface marks which doesn’t affect play. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR (F): The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump.
The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

POOR (P): The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD (B): The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.

FEEDBACK

We don’t have anything to hide and we know the buyers expect to receive feedback after to pay for the items they win. Most of sellers say to give feedback when buyers leave feedback first. But we know that’s not fair for buyers. So, we leave feedback immediately after to receive the payment, because we understand that’s the part that buyers must receive feedback for. And we expect to receive positive feedback from buyers who receive the records immediately after they have got the records.
