SIDE 1: TUYA
(Tua)
SIDE 2: CONDENAME
(Condannami)
MEGARARE and HARD-TO-FIND original
Columbia Records vey first High Fidelity Mono press released by Columbia
Records, made and distributed in Chile by Goluboff Industrias Fonográficas
(Goluboff Records) in 1959, catalog number SG-35, with machine etched matrix
numbers CHZ55 in Side 1 and CHZ56 in Side 2, with traditional white/blue Columbia
Records labels of the period and large center. Yes, Sirs, ANOTHER FIND from
Chile!!!
The first to say about this
record, “Tuya”, by Argentinian singer Dino Gianni, is that it was originally
released in Argentina in 1959 and the same year it was also released here in
Chile. Both songs are Spanish-sung versions of Italian hits. The song “Tua” was
originally performed at Sanremo Festival 1959 and released as single by Jula De
Palma and Tonina Torrielli. And song “Condannami” was originally released by
Tony Dallara in 1958. Song titles are written in Spanish only, with full
credits for songwriters and Spanish lyricists, and for accompaniment of Lucio
Milena And His Orchestra, with additional information about the tax law
applicable in Chile and original cash price, “1.260.-” printed in Side 1. So,
here you have the chance to get and own this MEGARARE CHILEAN PRESS, with WHITE
COLUMBIA LABELS, of this single by Argentinian singer Dino Gianni with 2
Italian hits of the period sung in Spanish, a record almost never seen and
maybe auctioned here in eBay by the very first time, A MUST TO HAVE for all
fans, lovers and collectors of Dino Gianni, Jula Da Palma, Tonina Torrielli,
Tony Dallara, Lucio Milena and early Latin Pop/Rock ’N’ Roll music of late
‘50’s!!!
This record doesn’t have a cover. The record is
in nice VG- or VG condition both sides, it has lost part of its gloss but it’s
clean, with loads and loads and loads of scuffs, soft hairlines and some light
scratches, which amazingly don’t affect play at all. Labels are in VG- or VG
condition both sides, clear but not so clean, with some spindle hole wear, some
discoloration and evident severe age browning, with a paper glued at top of
Side 2. The sound is in strong VG or even VG+ condition both sides, loud, clear
and clean, with a light background noise (surface noise is normal in records
from Chile), with constant soft crackles, more evident in the last seconds of
each song, which don’t cause major distraction from the experience to listen
and enjoy this record from the beginning to the end. Overall, this is a great
record in this MEGARARE CHILEAN PRESS with WHITE COLUMBIA LABELS, for sure not
for Minty minds or audiophiles, but still with a very nice look, fully readable
labels and a very decent and respectable sound quality after about 64 years,
which shouldn’t disappoint anyone and should satisfy any serious collector who
knows the real level of rarity of this Chilean issue!!! Yes, Sirs, what a
FIND!!! Click on the pictures to
enlarge and see the labels and cover in detail. WOW!!!

again… Thanks for watching and bidding, good luck and
best regards from Chile

We don’t use the generic
“VG” most of South American sellers use to hide poor quality conditions or “NM”
or “Mint” for records which aren’t even clean and sound less than a normal
“VG” in professional standards. We use the Record Collector’s Grading System
with a little modification: we don’t use MINT grade but for Sealed records
and we can use a + or – to show a most professional accurate description.
MINT (M): I only use this
grade for Sealed records. NEAR MINT (NM): The record itself is in like
new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality (only
some very very very light hairlines caused for the record rubbing the
sleeve). The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or
poster are in like perfect condition. BAD (B): The record
is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a
collection-filler.

FEEDBACK We don’t have anything to hide and we know the
buyers expect to receive feedback after to pay for the items they win. Most
of sellers say to give feedback when buyers leave feedback first. But we know
that’s not fair for buyers. So, we leave feedback immediately after to
receive the payment, because we understand that’s the part that buyers must
receive feedback for. And we expect to receive positive feedback from buyers
who receive the records immediately after they have got the records.
