Short sword.  I'm a US Seller, but I purchased this on ebay from a seller in Wazirabad, Pakistan.  This was an impulse buy and I've since found another one more to my own tastes so I'm just trying to recoup some of my money.  Note the scabbard originally had a super flimsy strap for wearing on your back which I crudely removed.  See photos for what I'm talking about.

I don't know anything about sword steel but I know enough to say it is a very sharp wall hanger sword.   Constructions feel very solid, but hand guard and pommel are a bit angular digging into your hand.  If you intend to hold it for any amount of time I recommend you wear gloves.
