John Kendrick Bangs (1862-1922) "was an American writer, humorist, editor and satirist." This book is a collection of his humorous tales of ghosts and the after-life.  It is illustrated by three artists including A.B.Frost who is "best known for his illustrations of Brer Rabbit and other characters in Joel Chandler Harris's "Uncle Remus" books.
