Whichever way you look at it this is a lot of timepiece for the money. At 50mm in dia it is quite large however it wears smaller than its appearance because the edge knurled bezel does not extend to the outside of the casework. There is really not one area on this timepiece that could have been done better.

The fit and finish is impeccable. The high polish gold edge knurled bezel is stunning. Five minute dive indices are engraved into the horizontal face of the unidirectional bezel. The dark blue coloured mirror dial looks amazing. The Swiss Made Ronda Z60 Quartz engine with date, retrograde day and chronograph functions powers this amazing piece. A screw down onion shaped crown nestles in a machined crown protector on the right side of the case, flanked either side by matching chronograph pushers.

White lumed 5 minute dial indices are outlined in fold. Large hour and minute hands have been finished in white lume and outlined in fold. The main sweep seconds hand has been finished in white lume. Chronograph sub dials support elapsed seconds and accumulated minutes. A retrograde day of the week sub dial nestles in the 9 o’clock position.

The Teardrop bracelet has been formed as a single link, 6mm thick and 26mm in width. The press formed over centre double locking deployment clasp is fitted with micro adjustment. As with many other Invicta bracelets the first case joining link has been machined out of solid billet. Other watch makers tend to use a folded sheet metal joining link independent of price level.

I must admit to being somewhat surprised when I first laid eyes on this timepiece. The quality of overall fit and finish and components used in construction allude to the fact that this is quite an expensive piece.

Timepiece is new with tag and plastics attached. Comes in an Invicta presentation case with paperwork and will be sent for free via Express Post within the land of Oz.

I have been fielding enquiries recently in relation to the authenticity of the watches I sell and also customers wanting all plastics removed from the watches when being photographed.

Firstly all my watches are certainly authentic. I do not sell, replica watches all though I do know that replica Invicta's do exist as I have myself unknowingly purchase a couple. My advice is not to buy Invicta watches where the country of origin is China. Having said that both replica's I purchased were from the United States, obviously marketed through Chinese affiliates in that country. Try to buy from reputable sellers.

If I describe a watch as new, then it is new and generally is wrapped in the manufacture's plastics. I do remove and replace some but not all of these plastics for photographic clarity. Most of my customers prefer an unmolested product where plastics are concerned however if you are genuine in your enquiry and prefer that all plastics be removed for photographic purposes then contact me and I will oblige.
