I think this style where a vest is attached to a blouse was an 80's phenomenon. In this case, pale yellow silk blouse with a yellow and lilac floral vest.The blouse is a longline, button-down style with wide sleeves and a mandarin collar. The vest has a single button closure, so can be done up or left hanging. Side splits mean you can also tie it low, back or to belt-like effect.
