Offered for sale is a beautiful antique late 19th/ early 20th c (late Qi'ing dynasty) Chinese embroidered light cream color silk panel mounted (NOT GLUED!) on the cardboard.
I will not remove the cardboard to avoid damaging the old silk.
Embroidered in bright multicolored silk threads using fine satin stitches.
Features exotic birds flying among blooming flowers.
The silk measures 17” (43.2 cm) long x 13” (33 cm) wide.
CONDITION: GOOD ANTIQUE CONDITION OVERALL, CONSIDERING THE OLD AGE OF THE PIECE: SOME RUBBING AND SCRATCHING TO THE SILK MATERIAL (MOSTLY IN THE CORNERS); INSIGNIFICANT LOSSES TO THE THREADS OF THE EMBROIDERY. OTHERWISE GOOD. FOR CONDITION REPORT PLEASE, REFER TO THE PICTURES!
