American Gardner Yardstick YS18 18V String Trimmer Extendable Shaft Used, This listing is for (1) Yardstick Model YS18 Extendable Shaft, this shaft was taken from a yardstick String trimmer that had bent connectors or something missing where the battery is inserted (seen in the last picture). This shaft extends, retracts and locks just fine, it measures about 16" retracted and about 24" extended. I have wiped this shaft down, it has scratches and marks from use and some rust on the clip that applies the pressure when the shaft is locked. the stickers are still attached, they have scratches, marks and are torn and pealing up in spots but not in too bad of shape. This shaft is good for someone who has a worn, bent or broken shaft or it could be used on someone's custom hobby project.
