The RC Hornet debuted in 1984, igniting the boom of 2WD off-road cars. It's an assembly kit of an electric radio control buggy that can run smoothly both on-road and off-road, thanks to its agile performance.
The car measures 400mm in length, 150mm in height, 230mm in width, and weighs 874g. Utilizing engineering plastic extensively in components like the bathtub-type frame, suspension arms, and gearbox, it achieves a lightweight yet strong body structure.
The suspension features independent swing axle at the front with coil springs and high shock-absorption oil damper units equipped on the rolling rigid axle at the rear.
It's equipped with sealed gearboxes to keep out sand and small stones common in off-road driving. It also includes a gear differential for smooth cornering.
The wheels are a 3-piece assembly type, providing a realistic feel. The front wheels come with grooved tires for excellent directional control, while the rear wheels feature high-grip spike tires.
The body is made of lightweight and shock-resistant polycarbonate.
Transmitter, speed controller, receiver, servo, and 7.2V battery are sold separately
