Victorian ebony and hallmarked silver walking stick or cane with a tigers eye ball pommel.
The silver was assayed in London as shown in the pictures, date letter for 1885
and has the makers mark for Julius Klinkhart.
Straight silver collar with a crown top for the sphere to sit into which is unusual. This below a stunning piece of tigers eye for the pommel top, the colour and design within the crystals are excellent.
The shaft is ebony and a good weight to give good support.
It measures 91.5 cm 36 inches in length, the pommel is 4.2 cm 1 5/8 inches wide.
The ferrule is original and made of brass and steel.
It's in excellent condition but with some minor signs of age and use as you'd expect at this age.
The pommel and shaft are in excellent condition with no damage or repairs.
Surface marks to the silver collar but no damage or repairs.
