I keep a lean, mean coin collection – no duplicates or multiple years, just one specimen of each. So here are three "cull" coins:
The Liberty Head "V" nickel
Three dates: 1899, 1905, 1912
Also known as the Barber head nickel. First coined in 1883 and was still being made in 1912 (the best of these three happens to be the 1912 coin).
Well-worn (which is standard for circulated versions of these coins).
Not particularly rare but quite cool to own coins well over a century old.
