MORRIS N. KERTZER (1910-1983). Kertzer was a Canadian-born rabbi who was best known for his writing and his work in promoting better relations between Christians and Jews.

SB. 197pgs. June 9, 1953. N.p. With an H On My Dog Tag by Morris N. Kertzer (New York: Behrman House, 1947), with an autograph inscription and signature by the author. On the first front end page, Kertzer wrote: “Best wishes to an old friend, Morris N. Kertzer June 9, 1953”. There is also another inscription in another hand on the same page. The book concerns Kertzer’s experiences as an Army chaplain in World War Two.  In fair condition overall, with significant wear and tear to the dust jacket. The inscription is undamaged and easily legible.
