"The Spirits' Book" by A. Kardec - 1980s SC reprint of 19th c. Spiritism text VG

In the mid 1800s, Allan Kardec amassed the greatest wealth of alleged spirit-given material ever assembled. He compiled and organized this vast amount of information dealing with the Hereafter, Godly & Earthly Laws and the realms of Spirits. They form his writings and are the foundation for the world-wide Spiritism Movement.

This undated 431-page copy from an unidentified publisher is a reprint of a 19th century edition. Note the photos to assess the style of reprinting and the condition of this softbound volume, which appears to be no older than the 1970s. Some slight staining and label residue on cover. Binding is tight and all pages are clean, undamaged and untanned.

While we are uncertain of its provenance, the book bears a strong resemblance to editions of the same book issued by The Brotherhood of Life, Inc., in the early 1980s.

This copy was a gift with no nostalgia attached to it. Therefore, we are making this copy available at a price far less than the reprints now being offered online. While this book is much reprinted in a variety of editions, our intent is to get this copy into the hands of a serious researcher quickly.
