From my collection of premium European linen and lace, this beautiful "envelope-style" lingerie holder was designed and produced in Nottingham - U.K's lace capital. Made from ivory satin, the opening flap has a hand-appliqued "V" shaped border of gossamer fine net lace with an allover theme of rose, finished with a creme grub rose. The top opens up to a deep inner "pocket" suitable for storing precious lingerie, stockings, handkerchiefs, etc. The bag ties on both sides with narrow ivory satin ribbon.
It is in new condition with maker's labels.
