Presented for auction is this superb Vintage Solid Sterling Silver The National Operatic & Dramatic Association Long Service Medal, hallmarked for Birmingham 1961.
This superb vintage solid sterling silver medal is The National Operatic & Dramatic Association Long Service medal, it has a blue ribbon with a metal pin bar to the reverse, the suspended jewel is finished in blue enamelling with the wording "Long Service The National Operatic & Dramatic Association" within and is unpersonalised, superb quality item/craftsmanship. It is hallmarked with the Makers mark DCC, the Birmingham assay office Anchor, the Lion Passant denoting solid sterling silver, the Date letter M for 1961, please see all the additional photos as they form part of the description.
Measuring 2 3/4" long top to bottom approx. It is in excellent used condition with no dents, dings, splits or repairs, just usual light wear consistent with age/use and it weighs 10.8grams by my electronic scales which includes the ribbon and pin.
