Axminster Rider no 5 size plane.

I must admit I know very little about the Axminster range of planes- if this were a Stanley or Record I could tell you loads.

What I can tell you is that it is in very good condition with little sign of use. The surface rust is very superficial and would be removed easily with a bit of scotchbrite.

Its a really heavy plane- far heavier than my Stanley and planes well.
